Voted Farma’s Best Pick Your Own in the UK in 2016, Lotmead Farm is the perfect place for a relaxing summer’s day out for all the family. Established in the 1950s as a traditional dairy farm, Lotmead opened its gates to pick your own visitors in the mid 1980s and has since grown to include some great family attractions and themed events plus the everyday activities of a real working farm with all sorts of fascinating things to discover and learn.

We’re now closed for the 2018 season - but we will reopen in December for our great selection of Christmas trees.

Free parking

Lotmead has plenty of free parking. Whether you choose to spend your money on our tasty ‘pick your own’ strawberries, fresh fruit and vegetables or on-site facilities, it all adds up to great deal of fun and brilliant value.

Pick Your Own

For all of our soft fruit and vegetable picking, we now ask for a small redeemable prepayment when you pick up your punnet.  

Play area

Our adventure play area carries a small charge of £1.50 for children over the age of 5 years - see details of savings below.

Our family season passes offer the best value to so you can make the most of Lotmead this season. All passes include access to our farm activities which include: 

  • Children’s Play Area

  • Small Animal Enclosure

  • Dairy Parlour

  • Nature Trail and Bird Hide

Both passes offer great value for money and include access to all our activities for two adults and up to three children. Additional adults or children (over the age of 5 years) will be charged £1.50 per person.
All the money raised helps towards maintaining the animals and their environments, the nature trail and wetland reserve as well as generally improving all our visitor facilities and attractions.
