Lotmead Farm Opening 2013
June 9th - October 2012
This year has been quite a challenge. What with all the rain in 2012 followed by one of the coldest and longest winters in recent times, our strawberry season has started 3-4 weeks later which means we are opening a little bit later than usual. Our opening day on 9th June happly coincides with Open Farm Sunday which we are now proudly associated with. So come on down to Lotmead and enjoy a great day out and feast upon some of the freshest, best value fruit in the land.

Strawberries & Steam 2013
Saturday and Sunday 29/30 June 2013
This year's show is already in the planning and will be held on the last weekend in June on the 29th and 30th. As usual, we'll do our very best to bring new supporting attractions as well our ever popular stalls, side shows and country fayre amusements that makes this day so special. We'll keep you up-to-date with more information about the show and its attractions either on this website or Twitter and Facebook as we get nearer to opening day.

Horses & Hawks Weekend - FREE
Saturday and Sunday 17/18 August 2013
A 'hands on' experience for everyone who loves horses with young and older horses demonstrating ploughing and harrowing. The horses are friendly and quite used to people so you may well see them up close and personal as they are taken around the farm. We've now combined this weekend with 'Birds of Prey' offering an intimate experience with these magificent creatures. There are no cages and the birds are either on perches or on hand accompanied by handlers to answer any questions you may have. If the weather conditions are right, we hope to see some demonstration flying. Feel free to explore the farm, pick your own strawberries, fruit and vegetables or simply relax and enjoy a great day out.
