Lotmead Farm is a family owned Dairy Farm, Pick Your Own and Business Village located just outside Swindon in Wiltshire. Situated on the road between Covingham and the village of Wanborough, it is easily accessed from Swindon or Junction 15 of the M4 motorway.
Pick Your Own Fruit and Vegetables
Started in 1985, we are Swindon's only PYO growing Table Top strawberries.
The Table Top layout means there is no bending and brings the pleasure
of fruit picking once again to the less agile among us!
We also have Raspberries, Currants and a wide range of vegetables
including Asparagus (supplied ready picked). We are open from the
end of May until October but reopen for the sale of Xmas Trees in
December.
Dairy Farm
Since 1950, Lotmead has been a Dairy Farm. You can watch 200 cows
being milked every day from 4.00pm from a viewing gallery inside the
milking parlour. There is no charge!
By arrangement, farm walks can be organised to show what dairy farming
is all about
Business Village
Also on the farm is a thriving Business Village of attractive brick
and timber beamed Victorian buildings, which have been converted into
studios and offices varying in size from 300sq metres to 1500sq metres.
Situated in the heart of the working farm, these premises offer an
unusual and interesting rural background and are suited to design
and computer based businesses. There is almost unlimited car parking
and at the last count there were some 100 personnel on site.
